The XP95A Heat Detector monitors temperature by using a single thermistor which provides a count output proportional to the external air temperature, reporting an alarm at 135°F.

Heat sensor (ULFX330)
Rate of rise with fixed heat sensor settings will detect
a rapid increase in temperature or temperatures above
135°F, and should be used in environments where the
ambient conditions might cause false alarms if smoke
detection were to be used, for example where there
is a high level of dust, fumes, steam or smoke under
normal conditions.
